July 19, 2009 was the annual Heart of the Lakes triatholon in Annandale, MN. For the second year, all three Hartley boys, Mark, Greg and Dave, competed in hopes of bringing home the coveted trophy. And again, for the second year, Greg and Dave were no match for Marks' athletic abilities. Mark retains possession for the trophy for yet another year.
Ellie and I went to Annandale to cheer on her daddy. Since Ellie can't speak yet, we decided to let her clothes do all the talking. During the race Ellie wore 3 onesies to cheer her daddy on. On the front: Go Daddy; Go Dad Go; Yeah Daddy
On the back: Bike Hard; Run Fast; UR #1. As you can see, all the cheering tuckered Ellie out.
