4th OF JULY, 2009

We went up to Greg's parents' house in Two Harbors for the 4th of July this year. Greg's brother, Mark, and his family were also up. It was a lot of fun.

During the weekend, Greg wanted to see if his wet suit would work in the chilly waters of Lake Superior. It did, for about 2 minutes. Greg couldn't last in the water any longer than that.

Don't let the smile on Greg's face fool you, he was cold - at least his feet were.

Mark stood nearby with the life preserver in case Greg needed his help.

Looks like he did.

But, Greg's parents were able to talk Greg into jumping into the chilly waters for a second time.

You know the water must be cold if Scout won't even go in!
