ISABEL, CLAUDIA & ELLIE

When Ellie was born, Greg's sister, Beth, and her family had just moved to Minnesota from California, and were living with us until they found the house of their own. I was very thankful to have them around - we had a parenting reference available to us 24 hours a day. Also, I didn't cook a meal for the 4 months they lived with us (HEAVEN!!).

The two little girls, Isabel - 4 and Claudia - 1 1/2, loved holding and playing with Ellie. Isabel would ask all the time to hold Ellie. Claudia's sign that she wanted to hold Ellie would be to hoist herself onto the couch, put a pillow in her lap, and say "Ellie, Ellie."
